You can permanently delete your SideBySide account and its associated data
directly from within the app, at any time.
How to delete your account
Follow these steps inside the SideBySide app:
Sign in to the SideBySide app.
From the Home screen, tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen.
Tap Delete Account.
Read the warning, then confirm by tapping Delete in the dialog.
This action is permanent. Once confirmed, your account is deleted
immediately and you are signed out. This cannot be undone.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we remove:
Your account and authentication record (Google or guest session).
Your profile details, such as name, email, and photo, as stored by the app.
Your room participation history (rooms you hosted or joined).
SideBySide does not host or store copies of any video, audio, or media you watch, as
content is transmitted directly between devices and never kept on our servers.
Temporary session and signaling data tied to ended rooms is automatically removed
approximately 24 hours after a session ends.
